As the masses rolled into Undefeated Santa Monica yesterday for the Nike Hyperdunk McFly release, we announced a special appearance by one individual, which turned out to be Kobe Bryant. Not only did Kobe Bryant show up, but he did it in style with a Delorean he must have borrowed from Doc (Back to the Future). The first 10 people in line got to meet Kobe Bryant, take a picture with him, and have their Nike Hyperdunk McFly’s autographed. Click below to see the whole turnout.

Chinese culture and tradition often play a part in Nike’s designing and thought process. Nike uses the traditional Chinese festival, “The Night of Sevens”, as their theme for this pack. The sneakers are made up of patent leather on the toes, translucent soles, and Chinese characters. The Air Max 1 and Court Force High and Low are the three Asia exclusive models chosen for this pack. Unfortunately, no release date has been officially set, but Kix-Files is now taking pre-orders.

We just showed the Nike Court Force High and Low Star Festival Pack, and the last addition is the Nike Air Max 1. Probably will turn out to be the most desirable, the Nike Air Max 1 Premium Star Festival Pack is a tribute to Tanabata, which is a Japanese tradition where people would write wishes in a paper, then hang them like decorations.
When you take a close look at the Nike Air Max 1 Premium Star Festival Pack, you can see Nike used a mesh toe box with hints on the side panels, star print on the mid panels, Navy patent leather uppers by the heel, and a shooting star on the insoles. Available now at Atmos.
