The bi-annual event has come and passed with another successful Sneaker Summit in Houston filled with superstars, music, giveaways and of course…..tons of kicks. Sneakerheads of all ages were lined up early, next door to Houston’s Reliant Stadium, at the Reliant Center for the Winter edition of the one day selling and trading event sponsored by companies such Karma Loop, Married To The Mob, Crooks & Castles and many more. A new sponsor, New Era Caps, had a line of Houston Sneaker Summit exclusive caps that were available and on display throughout the entire showcase. DJ Skee was in the building along with Trae Tha Truth who gave an impromptu performance mid-event. Bun B and Nicky Diamonds, who had a “Houston” Sneaker Summit exclusive shirt and jacket selling like Jays, were spotted as well as Slim Thug, 40 OZ Van, and TV Johnny. Custom artists and representatives were everywhere including DeJesus Customs, Mache Customs, Kickasso Kustoms and more. Houston, once again, held it down for the sneaker community with another great Sneaker Summit as the city awaits SneakerCon on January 4th at Minute Maid Park.
