adidas introduces the adidas Adizero Select 2.0, the newest installment in its highly successful Adizero series. Representing the pinnacle of performance footwear, the Adizero Select 2.0 seamlessly combines locked-in comfort with unparalleled speed. Scheduled to release on February 1, 2024, the retail price is $110.

Jalen Green, the NBA shooting guard for the Houston Rockets, takes center stage in the brand’s campaign unveiling the latest silhouette. Serving as an inspiration to the upcoming generation of athletes, Jalen’s speed, determination, and versatile movements aptly showcase the capabilities of this lightweight basketball shoe.

More than ten years ago, renowned shoe designer Toshiaki Omori meticulously crafted a lighter and faster shoe that propelled athletes to achieve new records, giving birth to Adizero. adidas pays tribute to Omori by handcrafting a design that truly honors the name—a symbol of speed earned on the front lines of sport. 

The Adizero Select 2.0 features enhanced breathability and reduced weight through its lightweight mono upper, strengthened by ribstop reinforcement. Its lightstrike foam midsole, designed for extreme lightness, adds to the weight reduction, accompanied by strategic cutouts on the outsole, midsole, and strobel. This ensures an exceptionally lightweight and breathable experience with every step.

The accompanying campaign, titled “For The Fast,” was shot in Los Angeles, California, featuring Jalen Green showcasing the silhouette.
