Ahead of this weekend’s European drop, Kith and Ronnie Fieg provide another look at the adidas Consortium Torsion Allegra, which is set to drop here in the US on December 22.
This year sees adidas Originals bringing back a Torsion-based running silhouette from the ‘90s – the Torsion Allegra – after a 20-year hiatus. Consortium has two versions on offer: an exciting partnership with Berlin-based sneaker retailer, Solebox, and an adidas Originals in-house designed Torsion Allegra EQT. The Torsion Allegra EQT takes inspiration from the Allegra S that was released in 1992, with both its colorways and materials, while Solebox’s interpretation goes modern. As always, impeccable materials and construction are at the core of Consortium, with soft synthetic suede, open mesh and neoprene used throughout. Look for both styles to hit Kith NYC December 22nd, 2012. More details coming soon.
