First previewed back in May, the adidas Consortium ZX 500 OG is set to hit select retailers later this month.
Since the re-birth of adidas Originals Consortium range we have seen the Tabula Rasa pack and the Your Story project, both with a sharp focus on premium materials and details that ensures the models to stay as true as possible to their original executions.
Now it’s finally time for the third release from the Consortium range… Say hello to the adidas ZX 500 in a beautiful OG Colorway straight from the archives.
The ZX 500 was first introduced in 1984 as a middle to long distance running shoe and it made an instant impact right away. This time the Consortium version revisits one of the original colorways and features a grey suede overlay on a mesh base. There are some red pop accents on the shoes but only on the heel tab and the tab on the tongue.
Did we hear “instant classic”?
Look for the classic ’80s runner to be available from SNS on Saturday, July 21.
