adidas Originals is going back to the early-2000s icon for the adidas Crazy 1 ADV release. Apart of the brands Fall/Winter 2017 collection, the brand is blurring the lines of performance footwear, the adidas Crazy 1’s mid-cut design captures the futuristic aesthetic of the early millennium.
The shoe’s 2017 rerelease stays true to this ethos, featuring a premium nubuck upper with an interior neoprene booty for comfort and fit. The understated upper is placed atop a dual-density midsole with referential branding on the outsole. Offered in a classic grey colorway with contrast off-white tooling, the release culminates as the understated return, translating the aggressive design language of the early 2000s into the minimalist aesthetic of 2017.
