When the adidas Crazy 8 first launched, it was known as the KB 8 and worn by none other than Kobe Bryant. This pair was Bryant’s first ever signature shoe, however, since being dropped by adidas and the Black Mamba signing with Nike, the Three Stripes branding changed the name to the Crazy 8. For 2023, they will bring back several colorways, including the classic ‘Black White’ iteration.
Utilizing a Core Black, Cloud White, and Collegiate Purple color combination. This adidas Crazy 8 comes built with nubuck across the upper, with the iconic FYW (Feet You Wear) logo on the vamp and medial collar. The shoes also have an EVA midsole, Torsion system, and webbing throughout. Finishing the look is Gold and Purple Three Stripes branding on the heels, that connects the shoes to the Los Angeles Lakers.
