Donovan Mitchell will soon debut his fifth signature shoe, the adidas DON Issue 5. Combining Orange and Black, we have the adidas D.O.N. Issue 5 “Black Widow” arriving in December.
Although the colorway on this DON Issue 5 appears to be linked to Halloween, the shoes won’t be released until December. Furthermore, the color theme resembles a Black Widow, linked to Mitchell’s nickname, “Spida.”
This D.O.N. Issue 5 features an Orange, Black, and White color scheme. As for the build, it features a TPU heel cap and mesh on the upper for breathability. Covered in mostly Orange, it gradients at the heel for a burnt look. Black appears on the tongue, laces, liner, panels, heels, and mid-foot. As for the midsole, it starts in Orange and features the same gradient as the upper. Extra branding adorns the medial side, which reads “ADIDAS BASKETBALL /// D.O.N. ISSUE 5” and comes with his Spida logo. Lastly, mostly Orange drapes the midsole with details of Black and White to finish the look.
