The second generation of the groundbreaking adidas NMD series, the adidas NMD R2 Primeknit will release during April and will include two women’s exclusives.
Featuring a full Primeknit upper, the shoe’s sockfit design is accented with welded 3-stripes marks and an essential leather NMD heel tab, whilst the Primeknit textile is elevated with an engineered stripe pattern and a polka-dot print detail. The greatest departure from the original NMD design, the shoe’s signature BOOST tooling is rendered in a classic white and Clear Granite color ways, finished with essential welded 3-stripes marks with contrast asymmetric plug inserts on the medial side, countered with an engraved stripe detail on the lateral side. The result is a continuation of the striking NMD aesthetic on a shoe that continues the groundbreaking legacy of the original shoe.
The two adidas NMD R2 Primeknit Women’s releases will debut at select adidas Originals retailers as well as adidas.com on April 6th, 2017. Retail price is set at $170.
