Since the adidas NMD first hit the scene in 2015, the model has made waves due to its comfort and lightweight design. Although the hype has died down for the model, the brand continues to push new renditions. Case in point, the NMD S1 that first dropped in 2021. The brand will introduce the new ‘Active Teal’ makeup for the warmer months.
Looking closer, this adidas NMD S1 comes dressed in an Active Teal, Core Black, and Off-White color combination. Utilizing recycled materials, including a knitted sock-like upper dipped in Teal. The shoes also have a new midsole that replaces Boost cushioning for a thick gel sole. The traction on the outsole is exaggerated resembling teeth, and the EVA plugs have been replaced with a slimmer design. Finishing the look is Off White on the midsole and outsole.
