Today, November 11th, is a special day for adidas and Run DMC because of the celebrated release of the Run DMC x adidas Originals “My adidas” 25th Anniversary Superstar 80s. Of course the Superstar is adidas’ most iconic, recognized sneaker of all time. For this reason, there is no doubt someone would eventually find a way to create a “custom” of the Superstar. Unlike most customs we have seen, artist Dancretul went the extra yard to recreate the Superstar in a very unique way. Using the outside peels of real oranges, Dancretul brought an otherwise lifeless Superstar back to life. By brilliantly, using the round shaped orange peel, Dancretul even was able to recreate the iconic shell toe on the Superstar. Dancretul’s latest creation is truly a work of art, a custom unlike anything we have seen.
