Ahead of tomorrow’s launch, adidas has officially unveiled the “Chicago Fire” edition of the adidas Rose 3.0.
Inspired by the Chicago Fire Department in Derrick Rose’s hometown, the kicks dawn the “Electricity” colorway popularized by Baylor’s edition of the Crazy Light 2 from the 2012 NCAA Tournament and see a heavy-duty rubberized synthetic upper meant to resemble a firefighter’s coat while the smooth black SPRINTFRAME and leather tongue represent rubber fire boots. Capping off the look is Three Stripes branding along the heel and outsole in grey to signify turnout coats and coveralls while the stripes on the heel come in reflective 3M.
This premium edition of Rose’s latest signature will be available this Wednesday, October 10, for $180 from select adidas Basketball retailers.
