adidas’ Yohji Yamamoto and the label Y-3 will also help celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Superstar with the release of the Yohji Star.
The Yohji Star will retain the heel portion largely unchanged, instead opting to play with traditional proportions and enhance the trainers natural bulkiness with the addition of an exaggerated forefoot. Complimented by the iconic shell toe box, premium suede overlays can be found to both the radial and medial sides, supplementing the sneakers with an added hit of textural depth.
Blanketed in alternating colorways of White, Ecru and Black the Yohji Star’s are finished with Y-3 branding to the tongue as well as the esteemed designers handwritten inscription.
