On May 11th, adidas released a statement stating they will start selling Yeezys again. Part of the proceeds will go to charities and Kanye West will receive 15% commission on all goods sold.
Earlier in the day, the ‘Zebra’ Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and ‘Utility Black’ Yeezy 500 were loaded on the adidas UK website. You could find the two shoes by searching the term ‘Yeezy Trainers’ on the website. This won’t be the first time the two have released, in fact, they have launched at retailers multiple times throughout the years.
This could be early signs of what’s to come, as the brand is currently sitting on roughly $1.3 billion USD worth of Yeezys (retail price). All of the product is sitting in a warehouse and CEO Bjorn Gulden stated that ‘Burning is not the solution.’
Although specific release dates are not available, a release will take place later this year via adidas.com and the Confirmed App. Once we learn of release dates or additional Yeezy footwear dropping, we will make sure to update you. For now, check out a closer look at the ‘Zebra’ Yeezy Boost 350 V2 and ‘Utility Black’ Yeezy 500 below.

Update (5/21): adidas has announced that Yeezy releases will begin rolling out on May 31st. A portion of the profits will go towards the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change. In addition, Kanye West will receive 15% commission.
adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden said: “After careful consideration, we have decided to begin releasing some of the remaining adidas YEEZY products. Selling and donating was the preferred option among all organizations and stakeholders we spoke to. We believe this is the best solution as it respects the created designs and produced shoes, it works for our people, resolves an inventory problem, and will have a positive impact in our communities.”
Update (5/18): adidas India recently posted an image showcasing a huge restock of past Yeezys including the Yeezy 350 V2, Yeezy 350 V2 CMFT, Yeezy Foam Runner, Yeezy Slides, Yeezy 450, and Yeezy 500. All were expected to re-release on June 1st. However, the photo was recently taken down. Currently, a stateside launch has yet to be announced, but more than likely, the releases will be spread out throughout Summer.
Not only do we have pairs restocking, but there will be new colorways that have yet to be unveiled. Make sure to check back with us for more updates.
