The Adidas Top Ten is a basketball sneaker that was originally released in 1979. Just as it says on the tongue logo, the Adidas Top Ten was endorsed by the top ten basketball pros of the time. The trademark three stripes mark the side of the sneaker, with a perforated toe box and padded ankle collar.

The Adidas Top Ten was produced in many color ways, but most notable is the white/navy combination with red around the ankle collar. College color ways of the Adidas Top Ten were also produced, though not for retail sale.
Production of the Adidas Top Ten stopped in 1983, and later resumed in 2002. In 2003, Adidas and Alife, artists from New York, collaborated to produce an all white Adidas Top Ten. Stamped by the heel is “ALIFENYC.”
