DSM wasn’t the first time an Air Jordan 1 was thought of to have patent leather uppers. A sample pair was produced sometime back from JB that Dover Street Market could have got its inspiration from.
The Blue Patent Leather Air Jordan 1 Sample differs from DSM. First the sample pair uses a lighter shade of blue that appears to have many sneaker heads drooling over. The Nike Air branding has been wiped from the shoes, eliminating them being a ‘Retro High OG’. Instead the Jumpman logo hits the tongue and heel. Solid white is then placed on the midsole while black hits the tongue and laces.
Do you think the Air Jordan 1 ‘Blue Patent Leather’ Sample should receive a release? We think so, except they should come with the Nike Air branding. Check out a few more images below.
