Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Rookie of the Year’ in 2018. When first launched, the shoes sat on shelves. However, within a few years, the resell price skyrocketed and is now a pair many try to obtain for a reasonable price. The theme is inspired by what Michael Jordan wore during his Rookie of the Year acceptance speech. In 2023, we will see another pair launch using the theme, this time the Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low.
This Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low comes dressed in a Golden Harvest, Black, and White color combination. Utilizing White leather on the upper and tongues, while Golden Harvest suede adorns the overlays, eyestays, and heel tabs. Next, Black detailing lands on the Swoosh logos, laces, liner, and a part of the outsole. The outline of the Wings logo lands on the heels, cork covers the insoles, and comes with the traditional thick platform sole. Sadly, this pair won’t feature his rookie stats like the 2018 release.
Below, you can check out more photos of the Air Jordan 1 Elevate Low ‘Rookie of the Year’ for a closer look. A release will take place later this year at select retailers and Nike.com. The retail price is $135. Once we have more information, we will make sure to update you.
