As most know, Jordan Brand is celebrating its 40th Anniversary. This celebratory year will bring us plenty of classic pairs. However, the brand will drop a women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 called “Ruby.” The shoes are inspired by the ruby gemstone, which celebrates a 40-year milestone.
We first reported on this pair back in July 2024. At the time, the color block and theme were unknown. However, that has changed with a first look, which shows that the pair comes dressed in the “Bred Toe” theme with added details.
This Air Jordan 1 features a Varsity Red, White, and Black color scheme. What stands out the most on this pair is the Red detailing across the toe box, ankle, and around the heel. It features a Metallic shiny finish with raised cracked-like detailing. The look is said to reflect a ruby gemstone. Furthermore, the pair features the “Bred Toe” blocking. We have Black leather around the toe, eyestays, Swoosh, and a rubber Wings logo. In addition, we have White leather on the panels and the same shade on the midsole. Other details include Red Nike Air on the tongues and a matching rubber outsole.
