For the first time, Jordan Brand released the AJKO Low, a low-top version of the classic Air Jordan 1 KO. The first pair to launch was in collaboration with Union Los Angeles, who dropped two colorways of the model. Launching for Summer 2023, we have the Air Jordan 1 KO Low ‘Bred’ that borrows the colors used on the 1985 release.
The initial lunch of the Air Jordan 1 KO took place in 1986. Initially, some believed that the ‘KO’ moniker stood for ‘Knock Out.’ However, it actually stands for ‘Knock-Off’ and was the brand’s offering to make cheaper Air Jordan 1 High and to combat replicas.
As you can see, this Air Jordan 1 KO Low comes dressed in the ‘Bred’ color blocking. Constructed with canvas on the base with Black and Red throughout. Next, Red leather adorns the Swoosh logos and heels with the Wings logo embroidered in Black. Red hits the Nike Air logos on the tongue and insoles, and we have Black nylon tongues. Other details include the size placed on the liner, a White midsole, and a Red rubber outsole.
