Air Jordan 1 KO Low Dark Royal Blue DX4981-103 Release Date

We saw the AJKO 1 Low release via Union LA in January 2023, and brought us two color options. Typically, we see a collaboration take place before general release colorways become available, and we have a full lineup dropping this year. After sharing the upcoming ‘Bred’ and ‘Shadow’ color options that will debut this Sumer, we have a first look at the Air Jordan 1 KO Low ‘Dark Royal Blue’ iteration.

The initial lunch of the Air Jordan 1 KO took place in 1986. Initially, some believed that the ‘KO’ moniker stood for ‘Knock Out.’ However, it actually stands for ‘Knock-Off’ and was the brand’s offering to make cheaper Air Jordan 1 High and to combat replicas.

This Air Jordan 1 KO Low comes dressed in a White, Dark Royal Blue, and Sail color combination. The overall look resembles the ‘Kentucky’ colors originally placed on the Nike Dunk ‘Be True To Your School’ Pack. Constructed with canvas throughout with White and Royal Blue. Next, Royal nubuck adorns the Swoosh logos and heel overlays, while Nike branding lands on the tongue labels and insoles. White fills in the embroidered Wings on the heels and the same shade covers the nylon tongues. Other details include the size placed on the liner, an aged midsole, and a Royal Blue rubber outsole.
