Jordan Brand started the year off by releasing a collaboration with Union Los Angeles, with the end result being two color options of the AJKO Low. Looking ahead, the brand will release color options that will not be a collaboration. Fresh off showcasing the ‘Bred’ Air Jordan 1 KO Low, we now can share details on the Air Jordan 1 KO Low ‘Shadow’ that will debut in Summer 2023.
The initial lunch of the Air Jordan 1 KO took place in 1986. Initially, some believed that the ‘KO’ moniker stood for ‘Knock Out.’ However, it actually stands for ‘Knock-Off’ and was the brand’s offering to make cheaper Air Jordan 1 High and to combat replicas.
This Air Jordan 1 KO Low comes dressed in a Black, Sail and Medium Grey color combination. Although images have yet to leak, we were told by our sources that the shoes will feature the iconic ‘Shadow’ color blocking. Utilizing Black canvas across the base, while the same shade adorns the tongue, laces, liner, and Wings logo. Next, Grey adorns the suede Swooshes, toe box, tongue label, and heel overlay. Other details include an aged midsole and a Black rubber outsole.
