There’s something that makes the Air Jordan 1 an undeniably cool shoe. The silhouette can never be duplicated, and every colorway is always a hit. With the recent major releases of the Bred and Royal Air Jordan 1 High OG shoes, the AJ1 seems to be making a bit of a comeback in 2014, with plans to release a suede edition of the aforementioned shoes. After releasing his Air Jordan Prism Pack of several other AJ models, the young and talented Kicks Galore took to a pair of the classic AJ1 to give them a laser-themed treatment.
The Air Jordan 1 “Lasers” customs by Kicks Galore see a black leather upper with electric lime laser graphics streaking across and throughout the shoes. While the toe box and midfoot panels of the shoe remain all black, the rest of the shoes see highlights of green beaming on the black base. Electric lime continues to add flair with the internal lining and on the laces. On the bottom, a darker green sets up shop on the outsoles.
The details of these shoes are impressive! The fading of the lasers all over the uppers is done perfectly, and Kicks Galore pulled this theme off without going overboard with the lasers graphics. Sometimes less is more, and to get that high quality aesthetic, you have to hold back sometimes. Great job, Kicks Galore!
