Jordan Brand released the ’Sashiko’ Air Jordan 4 in 2020, which is a shoe that nods to Japanese craftsmanship. In 2023, the brand will release another pair that will feature a similar theme. Known as the Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Sashiko’, the shoes will debut during Fall 2023.
Looking closer, this Air Jordan 1 Low comes with White canvas on the base, distress and worn-like denim fabric on the overlays around the toe box, forefoot, eyestays, and heels. Utilizing an aged look, the shoes also have frayed edges and Black tumbled leather Swoosh logos. Exposed stitching runs throughout with exposed foam on the tongues and ankles. Other details include an aged midsole, Cream laces, a graphic on the insoles, and a Black rubber outsole.
