In March 2023, we saw the first Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 launch, and we can expect a second colorway to launch later this year. However, Jordan Brand looks to make it’s popular Air Jordan 1 Mid silhouette into a skate shoe. We now have a first look at the model with a fat tongue, similar to what we see on the SB Dunk Low.
This mid-top Air Jordan 1 comes with Black nubuck on the upper, with the same shade on the nylon tongue and liner. Allowing the pair to pop, we have Orange leather on the overlays and across the toe box, while Red fills in the trimming. As mentioned, the padded tongues highlight the shoes, which also feature Orange Jumpman logos and ‘AIR’ in Red. Michael Jordan’s signature is written on the insoles with another Jumpman logo. Other details include a White midsole and an Orange rubber outsole.
