Some may not know that Michael Jordan broke his foot in 1985, and the incident could inspire this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid. However, it would make more sense if Halloween inspired the shoes. Nike Basketball used a similar theme on the “X-Ray” Kobe 5 Protro.
What allows this Air Jordan 1 Mid to stand out amongst the others is the x-ray graphics on the toe box, mid-foot, and ankle collar. To further the theme, we have a skeleton on the outsole and insoles, with the phrase “Even the best get hurt.” The ankle overlay is translucent, but we have Jordan’s number 23 below it, and the Wings logo is covered in Crimson. In addition, the Swoosh has a translucent finish, and Black leather drapes the overlays. Other details include a White midsole and an icy Blue translucent outsole.
