One of the most rare Air Jordan 1s we have seen which was previously showcased from Jordan Brand which was taken from the vault. This pair was a custom for Michael Jordan to wear after returning from his foot injury.
As you can see, this Air Jordan 1 comes dressed in the original Chicago Bulls color scheme. They were modified by Nike to help MJ from re-injuring himself. The differences from this pair and the retail is straps cut into the shoe along with velcro straps on the insides which adds more support.
Michael Jordan only played 18 games during the 1985-86 season. He returned for the Playoffs and put up 63 points agains the Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first round. MJ wore the modified Air Jordan 1 for only one game which was on March 21, 1986 and the returned to the original Air Jordan 1.
