Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan 10 ‘City’ Pack in 2016, but this time around the cities that will be represented are Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Charlotte.
When the Air Jordan 10 first released in 1995, Nike released a city series. Included was Sacramento, New York, Seattle, Orlando and Charlotte. Each pair released in the city and regions they best represented and the 2016 release is slated to launch in the same fashion.
Each pair of Air Jordan 10s from the 2016 ‘City’ Pack will be dressed in colors that best represent the city. Instead of the number 23 stitched (or in some cases 45) by the collar, the cities name will replace it.
The ‘Chicago’ Air Jordan 10 from the City Pack will take on colors from the cities flag. For those that don’t know, colors used will be a shade of light blue, red and white. We have heard they will resemble Russell Westbrook’s Jordan 10 PE.
The ‘Charlotte’ Air Jordan 10 will be dressed in the Hornets color scheme. Which makes sense as Michael Jordan is the owner of the team.
Instead of using the Lakers, the ‘Los Angeles’ Air Jordan 10 will take on a Dodgers color scheme. Going back to MJ’s time playing baseball, the LA edition will feature hues of blue and white.
Last but not least is the ‘New York’ Air Jordan 10 that will once again be inspired by the Statue of Liberty. This time around the theme of the shoes will be black.
As of now, we don’t have images nor release dates for the 2016 Air Jordan 10 City Pack. Make sure to check back with us for more information, news and images.
