Back in 1995 when Michael Jordan came back to the NBA he would play against the New York Knicks and drop a double nickel on them, or for those that don’t know 55 points. He wore the Air Jordan 10 and the number 45 and now 20 years later, Jordan Brand will pay tribute to that epic moment.
The model, which is also known as the Chicago Air Jordan 10 re-released for the first time in 2012. The 2015 version is slightly different with the brand using better materials and placing them in the remastered series while slapping the number 45 on the side.
Launching on the same day Jordan dropped 55 on the Knicks, the Air Jordan 10 retro ‘Double Nickel’ releases March 28th 2015 and will retail for $190.
