Air Jordan 10 “Shadow” Returns in 2025 with Toe Cap

In 2025, the Air Jordan 10 will finally receive some love, a shoe that has been on hiatus. In recent news, we have confirmed that the “Steel” Jordan 10 would return in 2025. However, that isn’t the only pair making a comeback. Later, in 2025, we will have the “Shadow” Air Jordan 10 arriving at retailers. Jordan Brand will also incorporate the unique toe cap on this pair.

While not released as many times as other classic retros, this Air Jordan 10 has dropped three times. The original release occurred in 1994 and was one of multiple OG color options. The second time the shoes were made available at retailers was in 2008. This time, they were packaged with the Air Jordan 13, part of the Countdown Pack series. The two shoes equaled the number 23 and were released to celebrate the launch of the Air Jordan 23.

This release was different from the OG. It featured the number 23 stitched on the ankle and a lighter checkered-like pattern on the liner. What made this pair interesting? Michael Jordan wore the “Shadow” AJ 10 on court, with the number 23 stitched. So, this rendition was a nod back to MJ’s pair.

The last time we saw a release was in 2018.

Unlike the “Steel” Jordan 10, the “Shadow” iteration was not released with a toe cap. However, there were samples made of the shoes. This will be the first time the pair will officially be released with a toe cap.

The 2025 iteration will feature a Dark Shadow, True Red, and Black color scheme. You can expect the color blocking and materials to stay the same. However, the biggest difference is the addition of the extra leather across the toe box. Highlighted with Dark Shadow on the upper, a Grey-like hue, while Black tumbled leather adorns the mudguard, eyestays, around the toe, and pull tabs. The Jordan Branding appears on the tongue, while Red fills in the Jumpman on the heels. The signature checkered-like pattern graces the liner, and a Black rubber outsole with Michael Jordan’s accolades completes the look.

Air Jordan 10 Shadow 2025 Release Date

The Air Jordan 10 “Shadow” will be released during Fall/Holiday 2025 at select Jordan Brand retailers and online via Nike.com. The retail price is $210. Once we have more details, we will update you. For now, check out more photos below of the original sample.
