There are multiple iconic classic colorways of the Air Jordan 12, but the “Taxi” iteration is one of the top pairs. Amongst the massive lineup of 2025 releases, you can add the Jordan 12 “Taxi” to the list of drops. After multiple years of rumors and sneakerheads asking for a return, the brand will finally return them.

This classic pair was originally released in 1996 and worn by Michael Jordan. We would eventually see a retro of the pair in 2008. However, it was part of the “Countdown” series, which came packaged with the Air Jordan 11. The last time we saw a release was in 2013.

Different pairs were also launched inspired by the classic silhouette. In 2004, we saw the low-top iteration debut, but with a White liner. In 2011, the shoes were released again, but this time with Black on the liner. A golf iteration was launched in 2022.

Highlighted in a White, Black, and Taxi color scheme. This Air Jordan 12 features White leather on the upper with Black on the mudguard, Jumpman branding, and heels. Accents of Taxi, a shade of Yellow, are used, while Metallic Gold graces the top eyelets. Lastly, Black covers the rubber outsole with Red, Taxi, and carbon fiber details.
