The Air Jordan 12 The Master is apart of a two pair pack from Jordan Brand inspired by posters. The pack as a whole is called the Air Jordan Poster Pack. For the 12s, they are inspired by a poster made to promote the shoes back in 1996 which was called “The Master”.
Breaking down the Jordan 12 ‘The Master’, the uppers use a tumbled premium leather in black. On the mudguard the traditional stingray texture overlay is present. White is used on the Jumpman branding, running down the tongue and heel and once again briefly showing up on the side. The finishing touch is the top two eyelets dipped in metallic gold.
Connecting to the consumers that purchased the Jordan 12 when they originally released, Jordan Brand will package ‘The Master’ Air Jordan 12 with the original box. Instead of the Nike Swoosh on the lid, they have placed the Jumpman logo. They will also come with a retro card.

The release date for The Master Air Jordan 12 is February 27th, 2016. With that being said Jordan Brand has stated this is apart of their Spring 2016 collection with more to come. Update: New images have leaked showing the box that the Air Jordan 12 ‘The Master’ will come in. At the time, Jordan’s and Nike’s came with a brown, red and black box with the Swoosh on the lid.
