This next custom project needs no introduction, because quite frankly if you don’t know Cookie Monster, your childhood was pretty bleak. Pittsburgh designer, Vincent Candelore, is giving us some nostalgic vibes with the arrival of his latest Air Jordan 4 customization.
The Air Jordan 4 “Cookie Monster” customs by Vincent Candelore are mostly blue, with a tan and brown toe cap and lacing straps. The uppers on these kicks are pretty wild; perfect for a tribute to Cookie Monster. The top portion of the uppers are a solid royal blue, while the lower half sees a lighter shade of blue incorporated in its elephant print design. The toe caps, lacing straps, and tongue patch don a chocolate chip inspired pattern, full of brown speckles on the tan colored base. White plays a minimal role in these customs on the midsole, while black covers the rest of the shoes with the lining, outsole and select panels on the uppers.
We’re loving the creativity that went into these shoes! They’re a dead-on representation of the beloved Sesame Street character. The paint job that Candelore did is impressive, as well.
