At the start of 2018, Drake showcased some exclusive Air Jordans with one of the pairs taking the spotlight being the Air Jordan 4 Splatter which features Nike Air branding on the heels.
The pair that Drake shared is very similar to the 1989 Air Jordan 4 Sample which wound up staying in the vault. Drake’s version has a few changes which includes the Nike Air not having a splatter overlay and the inside of the back heel tab features the OVO Owl logo.
Air Jordan 4 Splatter Release Details
At the time of writing, a release date for the Air Jordan 4 Splatter has yet to be announced nor is it confirmed that they will release. However it’s possible we see a launch take place during 2019 as it’s the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4. Update: This ‘OVO Promo’ Air Jordan 4 promo isn’t expected to release to the public, however rumor has it this pair will launch without any ties to OVO.
For those that are interested in this sample, they are available in a size 15 at Flight Club for $12,500.
Update: The ‘Splatter’ Air Jordan 4 is rumored to release during February 2019 and so far will be a women’s exclusive release. It isn’t known if a men’s drop will take place. In addition this pair is expected to be part of a ‘Splatter’ Pack. While we wait for a first look, they are expected to resemble the 1989 Sample.
