Air Jordan 5 Low Fire Red 2016

Not only did we learn today that the Air Jordan 5 Low Fire Red would release in 2016, but we have the release date. As you may know, the Fire Red edition of the Jordan 5 has never released in low top form true to the OG’s.

There was however a player exclusive made for Jordan team member Derek Anderson. For now we have used DA’s PE as a placeholder, since the actual release will look identical except for his number 5 stitched on the side. The Fire Red Air Jordan 5 Low will feature white leather through the uppers along with transparent netting, fire red accents along the flames, liner and inside of the tongue. Black will take over the midsole while 3M reflective material hits the tongue.

Now that we have seen the Fire Red Jordan 5 Low for 2016, there are differences between the general released pair and PE. As you can see, fire red will land on the midsole, liner and Jumpman placed on the tongue. Following is black placed on the flames and mesh netting, something we have yet to see before. Other details include a white base and translucent blue tinted outsole.

We received a report that the Air Jordan 5 Low ‘Fire Red’ will land at Jordan Brand retailers on March 12th, 2016. Retail price will be $175. As soon as we have additional info and more images, we will make sure to let you know. What are your thoughts of the Fire Red now being a low top?
