The Air Jordan 8 “Aqua” is an original colorway that will return in Fall 2025. One of the shoe’s most iconic color blockings, it will retail for $210.

2025 Aqua Air Jordan 8

As Jordan Brand continues its incredible lineup of releases for 2025, we can confirm that the “Aqua” Air Jordan 8 will return. Next year is a big year for Jordan Brand, as they will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the line’s start. This has resulted in many classic colorways on the docket to return, including the OG “Aqua.”

Aqua 8 Through the Years

The “Aqua” Jordan 8 has been released three times over the years. The original release occurred in 1993 and was one of three colorways. Furthermore, Michael Jordan wore this pair during the 1993 NBA All-Star Game. MJ would drop 30 points wearing the sneakers but ultimately lost to the West 135 to 132 in overtime.

Since then, we have seen two retro pairs debut from the brand. The first time we saw the retro debut was in 2007, and it didn’t take long for the pair to sell out. The last time we saw them drop was in 2015. As for the last release, people were upset about the drop due to the glitter detailing on the midsole.

The colorway is so popular that Jordan Brand has used it on other models. In 2010, JB launched the Jordan AJF 8 using the theme. In 2012, we saw the Air Jordan 8.0 drop, and one of the more popular pairs is the “Aqua” Air Jordan 6 that launched in 2023.

The 2025 release will feature a Black, True Red, Iron Grey, Bright Concord, and Aquatone color scheme. This Air Jordan 8 will utilize the same color blocking as the original, consisting of Black nubuck across the upper with Iron Grey details. Highlighting the shoes combines Bright Concord and Aquatone on the midsole and carpet-like tongue branding. Other details include Red accents on the branding and Black on the rubber outsole with splashes of Purple and Aqua.
