Jordan Brand has taken some of their classic models and transformed them to be used in different sports. This time around the brand takes the Air Jordan 9 Low and modifies them to be used on the golf course.
Marcus Jordan was the first to showcase this Air Jordan 9 Low Golf Shoe through Twitter. As you can see, they feature a Black, Red and White color theme which matches the ‘Chicago’ Jordan 9 Low that will debut in April. Snakeskin texture runs through the mudguard which is then followed up with a White midsole. Last but not least is the altering of the sole which will now feature golf spikes.
At the time of writing, it isn’t known if the Air Jordan 9 Low Golf Shoe will actually release. On another note, Marcus Jordan did confirm he will be carrying golf and soccer products in his sneaker store, Trophy Room.
Update: We now have official images of both the ‘Birmingham Barons’ and ‘Chicago’ Air Jordan 9 Golf Shoes. They are also releasing on NikeStore.com today at 7PM EST. Retail price will be $225 each.
