Official images are now available for the Air Jordan 9 ‘The Sprit’. Formally known as ‘Copper Statue’, this Air Jordan 9 is said to capture the spirt of Michael Jordan and his career.
The statue of Michael Jordan in front of the United Center is known as ‘The Spirit’ and was created by Omri Amrany and Julie Rotblatt-Amrany. Jordan, who didn’t play in the NBA when the Air Jordan 9 released but the statue shows him in a pair.
Featuring a white, black and militia green color mashup. The uppers utilize a white leather base. Through the midsole, liner and eyelets is the use of militia green. Black then covers the tongue, 23 on the heel and other Jordan Branding. Other details include a speckled overlay on the midsole and the date November 1, 1994 which is the day the statue was erected.

‘The Spirit’ Air Jordan 9 will release at Jordan Brand retailers on August 22nd, 2015 and will retail for $190.
