The Air Jordan Converse UNC Alumni Pack will include the Air Jordan 2 and the Converse Fastbreak Mid which will debut on June 28th, 2017.
This isn’t the first time that Jordan Brand connected with Converse. The first time was back in 2012 to release a special Converse shoe with Jumpman branding while coming in a University of North Carolina theme. Limited to 23 packs which were auctioned off with proceeds going to the James R. Jordan Foundation.
The pack will include the Air Jordan 2 ‘Alumni Game’ and the Converse Fastbreak Mid. The Air Jordan 2 features a UNC theme while mixing Black and Red which mimics the PE Michael Jordan wore in the Alumni Game. On the heel it reads “MJ” and “6/28/87” which is the date when the Alumni Game took place.
For the Converse Fastbreak Mid, they were worn by Michael Jordan during the 1984 Olympics. Once again featuring a University of North Carolina theme, they feature a predominate White base while UNC Blue accents the branding and around the collar.
Air Jordan Converse UNC Alumni Pack Release Date
The Air Jordan x Converse UNC Alumni Pack is scheduled to release at select Jordan Brand retailers on June 28th, 2017. Retail price will be $300.
