May 25th is looking to be a crazy day for sneakerheads; restocks galore; 2 Lebron Xs (the Lebron Elite X “Sport Turq/Volt/Violet Force” and the Lebron X Low “Sprite”); a Kobe Sytem 8 “Venice Beach” (formerly known as the “N7”); and this gem, one of the most anticipated releases of the year (in my book, anyways): the Air Jordan I (1) OG “Black Toe”. Featuring a White/Black/Gym Red colorway OG Jordan heads will recognize immediately as one of the original Air Jordan I (1) releases, the “Black Toe” I (1) is given the “OG” treatment, meaning “Nike Air” branding on the shoe (most noticeably, the tongue tag) and packaging to give it that nostalgic feeling.
For those wanting to cop a pair this upcoming Saturday, Memorial Day Weekend, you’ll have to be on your A-Game if you hope to scoop a pair of these classic kicks. Sneaker Files has the scoop on where you’ll be able to find these come May 25th. Check the release info and pics of these gems after the jump.
Do these have you seeing (white, black, and) red on Saturday morning? Have another pair in mind? Not a fan of shoes at all and have no idea how you even got here? Let us know in the comments below!
