After a highly successful release of the Air Jordan III (3) ’88 Retro “White/Cement” last week, Jordan Brand may have a few more surprises up their sleeve for 2013!

As 1988 was a huge year for Michael Jordan with a memorable performance and win in the ’88 Slam Dunk Contest followed by MVP honors during the All-Star game, Jordan Brand may be reviving another OG classic with the introduction of the Air Jordan III (3) “Black/Cement” with nostalgic “Nike Air” branding at the back heel.

No release date yet, however, make sure you stay tuned to Sneaker Files for more news and updates on a possible 2013 release of the Air Jordan III (3) ’88 Retro “Black/Cement”!

  1. Let us have the Black and Infrared 6’s with the Nike air on back, with GOOD quality material, not that cheap BS like the last 6’s had.

  2. But this time can we do better with people who actually get on early and try to purchase them I could never even get em in my cart! So disaapointed !

  3. Nah… I’d rather get the 2011 retros for fraction of the price, then modify the Jordan Air to Nike Air myself if I feel 100% necessary to even do it (there is a video tutorial on youtube). Besides, I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing $200 shoes casually… This release proved that there is no price cap to Jordan shoes since people will buy them anyways, therefore JB will continue to exploit the fact to manipulate its consumers. I won’t be surprised at all when the all the 11s dropping this year are released with $210 price tags, $220 the year after and etc…

  4. Ill be ready for these ones to go with my cements I grabbed offline. Hopefully I get lucky as I did with the cements but we shall see.

  5. This is ridiculous… they just released the black cements a year and a half ago. It’s flooding the market and it’s not even cool to have Jordans anymore. A part of the essence of sneakers is having awesome shoes, but not being like everyone else. Jordan provided that; however, they’re screwing it up going after price tags like these. Terrible.
