air-jordan-iii-3-fire-red-sells-250000-pairs

Did you pick up the Air Jordan III (3) “Fire Red” last weekend? If you so, you helped to contribute to the whopping 250,000 pairs that were purchased altogether last week.

Surpassing Kevin Durant’s Nike KD VI (6) “Meteorology” release, the “Fire Red” took top honors as many sneaker goers flocked towards the retro that hadn’t been seen on shelves since 2007. You may saying, “But, they’re still sitting on the shelves,” or “The quality was terrible!” Yes, and you make a valid point but once again, numbers do not lie and it appears that these figures will only increase considering this week’s sales of any other sizes that remain in stock around the country.

Considering the fact the Air Jordan IV (4) “Red Toro” sold in excess of 400,000 pairs, do you think that Jordan Brand will deliver enough pairs of what’s to come for Holiday 2013? As those chances are slim, it’s always good to wish for the best outcome. Sound off in our comments below and stick with Sneaker Files for more news and updates on your favorite kicks.

  1. i copped a pair, and the quality is very good, i never had an 07 pair, so i can’t compare the 2 ! but im happy with the pair i got!

  2. 250k and still was sold for a day, impressive. Think JB should only produce retro’s and call it a day.
