Releasing this November is the Doernbecher Air Jordan III. While 2011 seems to be one of the greatest Jordan Brand release years in quite some time, the last few months of 2010 will be something we won’t soon forget.
Varsity red is the primary color used this time around and includes a patterned leather upper and all red elephant print on the toe and heel panels. Black around the collar lining, heel tab, eyelets and midsole work well giving it a very Chicago like feel to it. Metallic silver is one color not typically used on a black/red Jordan and in this case seems to go in subtly enough to not throw off the overall look. A clear sole is applied to finish it off, something never seen before on an AJ3 other than on one sample pair of ‘Cements’.
Retail will be $125 and these will only drop at select Niketowns, NikeStores and Nike.com.
