When you contact a sneaker artist, there’s a few things you need to have lined up like what sneaker model, design concept, and money- there are no favors in the custom footwear community. But if you know an artist and have seen their portfolio, why not just give them complete creative control? Luckily this is Ecentrik Artistry’s reality, and he whipped up an exclusive, 1-of-1 custom AJ4. We’ve seen his work, like the AJ5 Pantone customs, but he’s definitely turned things up a notch! The Air Jordan IV (4) Freestyle Customs by Ecentrik Artistry are predominately hazlenut brown on the leather uppers, with baby blue for accenting. The mudguard sees some graphic action, with black, white, and darker blue tones splashing over the baby blue base. Blue continues to pop up on the lacing, eyelets, heel panel, and tongue branding. To give these kicks some extra flair, the soles are a clean and crisp white. Ecentrik wanted to create a pair of shoes that would grab any passerby’s attention, but still have a subtle sense of style. I say a job well done, these kicks are amazing!
