Taking a trip down memory lane, it was 1993-94 season. The Original Air Jordan 9 released and Penny Hardaway was new in the league. What many sneakerheads tend to forget, before Hardaway had his own signature Nike he wore time to time Air Jordans. Pictured is a rare Air Jordan IX (9) PE made for Penny Hardaway when he played for the Orlando Magic. Made in a Black/Dark Charcoal-Royal Blue (matching the away Orlando Magic jersey), Nike switched out the traditional 23 on the heel and added the number 1. This size 14 Jordan 9 Penny Hardaway Player Exclusive would be a memorable shoe in any sneaker collection.
