Air Jordan Retro 7 Cardinal Selling Early Foot Locker San Antonio

We received a tip from “James”, that the Air Jordan Retro 7 Cardinals are selling now at the Foot Locker in Ingram Park Mall, located in San Antonio. James went in to purchase a pair of Jordan 7 Bordeaux, but when he got home and opened the box, it was the Cardinals instead.

The 2011 Air Jordan 7 Cardinals release June 18th 2011, but as you can see (from the images below) the receipt shows he bought them on the 16th. Clearly this is a big mix up, and it is unknown if they are still selling them.

  2. I can believe it due to I’ve seen this rare occassion happen before when I purchased some past heat at this mall when I was visiting San Antonio. Only thing that gets me is even with the reciept I would have to call SUSPECT cause what SneakerHead in there right mind doesnt check out the quality of what they purchase until they get home????   8. He just got this footlocker in so much trouble with jordan brand lol I know they are reading this cursing up a storm somebody is about to lose their job for sure lol. You’re lucky tho in cleveland things like this NEVER happen for retail price especially 2 and a half months before release. If I were you I would have kept this my little secret

  10. What gets me is that they shouldn’t have this shoe this early at the store. Having worked for champs, release shoes don’t come in this early. This makes me think that this was a shipping issue and the management should have known better.

  17. Dam if Nike sent me these instead of the Bordeaux I would have sold them also if not they would loose big on the first day sales! We still have a full size run of the Bordeaux at the nike store in my city they really aint all that dope the cardinals are better. But if this really happened lucky you but i had a friend that worked in footlocker and he had to key in a code to sell shit early I don’t

  18. this store is definitly under heavy JB watch I feel sorry for the people that live in that area jordan brand is `bout to quarantine the whole area dumb a$$ cashier. It is one thing if you get it early, but if you get it early and broadcast the place of purchase you as dumb as they come. Congratulations to jordan brand for setting this store up and big up to the lesson that this dumb A$$ kid learn. ( I`m mean for real was this this kids 1st purchase.)

  19. @Slimnaz there is no such “code” at ftl to enter to sell shoes early im a manager for a footlocker on the east coast. sometimes in ur shipment you can get wrong pairs mixed in so when this store got there shipment of Bordeaux there may have been an error in the warehouse that a pair or two of Cardinals got mixed in i woulda sold them also releases normally dont come into the store until about 2 weeks before release. I remember back in 06 a pair of stash 95s ended up in a FTA in my old district and the manager scooped them up quick these things just happen sometimes

WOWWWWWWWWW BRO, Why would you put Footlocker on blast like that, it’s bad enough we dont get exclusive kicks in San Antonio, now out the store that almost gets all the shoes next to champs at North store, Hopefully JB look at this as a mistake and charge it to the game, because if something happens to Footlocker James, you just ruined one of the few nice shoe spots we have in SA, Im not hating on you congrats and all but fl has one of the coolest staff I’ve met and Im from Houston, so I just dont understand who would want to ruin a good thing, and I can guarentee thanks to you, that mistake will never be made again, so no one else can luck up like you did

  26. The (Cardinals) are iight but they kind of weak compared to bordueax”s if I was u I would of took everybody elses advice and copped them too!! But if u didn’t have the money for the both of them. I would pick the bordueax’s and took the cardinals back and waited for them to come out In june. Maybe if u would of let NIKE or FOOTLOCKER aware of the situation they might of or could of gave you a hugh discount on the 7s or any other retro u wanted to use it on!! Good way to go about

  29. Why are so many people getting mad? If anything it’s JB/NIKE’s fault for shipping one pair of Cardinals mixed in with the Bordeauxs. They expect the employees to look at every single box at 6’o’clock in the morning with a line of people? NO…JB fxxked up, and there’s websites with early releases already so it’s not like no one had them yet. BTW sold them on eBay already for $320, win. And does anyone really think JB would take their shoes out of Foot Locker? They’re not stupid, the same company owns Foot Locker, Champs, and Foot Action…they have too much control over sneaker retail for JB to pull product…
