The hype for the Nike Air Mags never seems to die, and the anticipation for these shoes continues to grow as more samples pop up on the internet. Even Nike designer, Tinker Hatfield, is adding to the excitement for the Mags, by spilling some details about a possible Nike Air Mag 2015 release. Adding his own contribution to the Air Mag buzz, is Artistic Soles member, Sam Silva with a pair of custom AJ6’s that look straight out of the future.
The Air Jordan VI (6) Lows “Air Mag” customs by Sam Silva are grey with white accents on the uppers and a dark blue-grey sole featuring an LED light unit. White adds a refreshing crispness to the silhouette of a lowtop version the AJ6, especially on the rear with the heel tab and icy outsole. The familiar speckles seen on the originals reappear on these midsoles. Details are rounded out with classic perforations dotting the midfoot panel, and white branding on the rear.
The details are what make these customs a stellar standout from Sam Silva! The use of the LED lights in the shoes is amazing, and give off a level of futuristic vibes that only Marty McFly could reach. What you do think of these AJ6 “Air Mag” customs? More shots below!
