Tampa Bay Rays pitcher David Price is no stranger when it comes to kicks, especially when it involves a pair of Air Jordans. If all you sneakerheads can recall, Price graced the cover of Sports Illustrated rocking a fresh pair of “Concord” Air Jordan XI’s. This time around, Price took to Twitter to share a look at his Air Jordan XII PE cleats.
Dressed up nice in the Rays team colors, one can’t help but notice how similar these are to the “Obsidian” Air Jordan XII’s. With the most noticable differences being the carolina blue laces, along with the obvious DP14 PE markings on the heel, Prices pair of PE Jordans definitely places him on the most well-known sneakerhead list in major league baseball.
With the Air Jordan XII receiving some PE love on the diamond, could we possibly see the XII model get some retail love in the near future? Continue reading after the jump to get a better look at Prices PE cleats. Where do these rank in comparison to Jimmy Rollins Air Jordan XI PE cleats?
