Nike has announced that A’ja Wilson will receive her own signature shoe in 2025. A’ja Wilson has worked with Nike’s innovation, product, and design experts for over a year to create a signature collection inspired by her distinctive style, performance, and unapologetic realness. The two-time WNBA MVP marks the second WNBA player who currently has a signature shoe with Nike.
The lead footwear designer on her upcoming signature shoe, the Nike A’One, is Ben Nethongkome, who stated that Wilson was “quick to share her aesthetic and performance priorities for her signature shoe — and that her collaborative spirit and infectious energy helped the design team bring her vision to life.”
Wilson stated the following on the design process and her asks for her first signature shoe:
“The design process with Nike was really gratifying, and I didn’t realize how much goes into designing a shoe,” says Wilson. “My biggest asks were that the shoe was light and comfortable for all the hours I spend on the court, and that it also looks really good. It’s versatile, and I hope people will wear it when they’re hooping but also just when they’re walking around every day. It’s so exciting to be sharing my signature, a piece of me, with the world.”

The first colorway, “Pink A’ura” features a Laser Pink, Pink Foam, and Pale Pink color combination. Designed for both performance and style, the Nike A’One “Pink Aura” features Cushlon ST2 foam for superior responsiveness on the court. The updated traction pattern enhances agility for seamless drives to the basket. Its breathable mesh upper showcases a gradient pink design, while a pearl-accented frame pays tribute to A’ja Wilson’s grandmother. Inside the tongues, Celtic symbols honor her parents—her mother on the right and her father on the left. Additional signature details include her personal logo on the tongue, her autograph on the heel, and a pearlized Swoosh with reflective accents. A star-shaped eyelet completes the design.

The Nike A’One will be released in the “Pink A’ura” colorway at select Nike Basketball retailers and online via Nike.com on May 8th, 2025. It will be available in women’s, men’s, and kids’ sizes.
