Asics is getting ready to launch a brand new collection for the warmer months which is centered around the Asics Gel Lyte III. Two color options form the Asics Gel Lyte III ‘Ranru’ Pack will debut which is inspired by Japanese boro.
What is boro? It’s a traditional patchwork style, boro grew out of necessity as opposed to aesthetics. Meaning “ragged” or “tattered,” the boro style was favored by nineteenth and early twentieth-century rural Japanese.
The two Asics Gel Lyte III color options include Aluminum and Indigo. They also come with denim across the uppers with patchwork. Other highlights include White across the midsole while Gum covers the outsole.
