Asics is throwing together a new two pair pack that will celebrate the upcoming Japanese Tanabata festival. The self titled Asics Gel ‘Tanabata’ Pack will feature the Gel Kayano Trainer and the Gel Respector.
First up is the Asics Gel Respector which features a nubuck upper with reptile texture Green on the overlays. A bit of mustard Yellow is seen on the heel and lace tips while a Tan midsole completes them. Next up is the Asics Gel Kayano Trainer which is a bit brighter due to its predominate use of Yellow. Constructed with suede, a darker shade of Tan runs through the midsole.
The Asics Gel Tanabata Pack which includes the Gel Kayano Trainer and the Gel Respector will be available at select Asics retailers on July 7th, 2016.
